Ananta’s EV Background:
Over the past 11 months, Ananta Energy Source has conducted an extensive analysis of electric vehicle (EV) charging units and EV charging infrastructure to meet the demands of our hotel and restaurant clientele. The surging demand for EV charging hardware and services, combined with the recent introduction of the Inflation Reduction Act, has spurred our focus on delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Our team has been actively engaging with various Level 2 and Level 3 EV charging manufacturers and vendors to identify and assess the feasibility of different charging units. This thorough evaluation process, spearheaded by our Director of Sustainability, Michael Rose, involves a comprehensive review of the advantages and disadvantages of each charging unit and its suitability for our hotel and restaurant clients.
Why does someone buy an EV? It’s safe to say that every EV driver has their own reason for purchasing an electric vehicle.
For starters, electric cars produce zero emissions, which can help to improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This is a major selling point for many people who are concerned about the environment.
Other drivers choose EV's for economic reasons. Electric cars can be cheaper to operate than gasoline-powered cars. Depending on where you are, the cost of electricity can be lower than the cost of gasoline.
Another major reasons drivers are choosing EV's over gas-powered cars is that for some people, electric cars are often seen as being more technologically advanced than gasoline-powered cars. They have features like regenerative braking and instant torque that can make them more fun to drive!
Some folks purchase it for establishing wealth, or an elite status image since the average price tag for most EVs is about $20K higher than the average price tag for your traditional combustion engine vehicle.
What about the folks who DON'T want EV's? There are some valid reasons to choose a gas-powered vehicle. Three main reasons why people do not want to buy electric vehicles include:
In addition to these three main reasons, there are many other factors that can influence someone's decision not to buy an electric car. These factors can include the upfront cost of the car, the availability of different models, and the government incentives that are/aren't available.
It is important to note that the electric vehicle market is still relatively new, and the infrastructure and technology are constantly improving. As more and more people buy electric cars, the range anxiety and other concerns will likely diminish.
Ananta's Leadership:
The lack of EV charging infrastructure has someone like Ananta's CEO, Merrill Mangalasseril, extra curious about this industry and how the Ananta team can be a catalyst for the industry.
What if Ananta can change that? What if we can leverage our team, our customers, our networks, and diligence process and assist the United States in deploying more EV charging units across the country?
Our Goal:
Our goal at Ananta Energy Source is to build a team and establish the right partners in the industry where we can help out with EV charging deployment and customize an EV charging solution for many of our customers that have an interest in doing so.
Starting with hotel owners, we are running into hotel owners that are very interested in the technology, understand the EV movement, and want to get involved, but it is still not 100% clear on how involved everybody wants to be. Some hotel owners want a headache-free, maintenance-free, and cost-free solution where they do not have to worry about EV charging units and taking care/maintaining the units. On the other side of the spectrum, you have other hotel owners that want to take on the ownership, installation, and invest in the management process of the EV units. Ultimately, our goal for every hotel owner is to make sure we find the right EV Charging unit for you.
Additional notes: Especially in markets where incentives are available (ie: local government, federal government, utilities, local EPAs, energy coalition groups, etc), many hotel owners can take advantage of these incentives to get the deployment of EV Charging units funded.
Ananta’s Cost Free/Headache Free option:
Ananta currently has an opportunity for hotel owners by offering free level 2 charging hardware, software, and installation with a 10% profit sharing plan with the hotel owner. This promotion is perfect for existing hotel owners who truly want a cost free option, but also want the paid EV charging amenity at their property for additional heads on beds, and additional retail revenue for your full-service hotels, or even select-service hotels that have a market-place for snacks and drinks. There are ways to qualify for up to 70% profit-sharing, but it’s only really for hotel properties that are considered, “make-ready,” and have the existing infrastructure in place. If your hotel currently has staffing issues and you’re concerned about giving your team an additional amenity to manage, this solution might be perfect for your hotel because all maintenance, and customer service is to be handled by Ananta and our partners on this promotion. As technology evolves and changes, our promotion does include complimentary upgrades every 4-5 years on hardware and software.
Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to add a cost-free, hassle-free EV charging amenity to your hotel and increase your revenue with Ananta's promotion. Contact us today.
