The Pennsylvania PUC has received new tariffed commercial PTC-Default rate filings from FirstEnergy utilities for the period starting March 1, 2023. These rates represent the all-in default service prices, before the addition of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge, which is currently 0%.
For commercial customers, there are different rates depending on the utility.
Met-Ed will offer a commercial PTC-Default rate of $0.08679 per kWh starting March 1, a decrease of 31% from the current rate of $0.12567 per kWh.
Penelec will offer a commercial PTC-Default rate of $0.09161 per kWh starting March 1, a decrease of 14% from the current rate of $0.10679 per kWh.
Penn Power will offer a commercial PTC-Default rate of $0.10818 per kWh starting March 1, a decrease of 10% from the current rate of $0.12035 per kWh.
West Penn Power will offer a commercial PTC-Default rate of $0.07529 per kWh starting March 1, a decrease of 28% from the current rate of $0.10504 per kWh.
